Privacy notice

Draft pending legal review. This page describes how the RYNST pre-launch website and waitlist actually handle information today. It will be reviewed by a qualified lawyer, and the operating entity's details will be added, before RYNST launches.

What this covers

This notice covers the RYNST website and the early-access waitlist. RYNST is a personal AI assistant that is still in development; when the product itself opens to users, it will come with its own, more detailed privacy terms.

What we collect when you join the waitlist

  • Your name and email address.
  • What you'd mainly use RYNST for, and anything you choose to write about what you'd like it to do.
  • Answers to the optional follow-up questions, if you answer them.
  • Whether you asked for development updates, which version of this notice you saw, and when you joined.
  • How you found us: campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), the domain of the site that referred you, and the page you landed on.

We don't store your IP address with your waitlist entry, and we don't use advertising trackers. Our servers process IP addresses briefly for security (for example, to limit repeated submissions).

Measuring this website

To see whether the page works, we count a few anonymous events — a page view (with the campaign tag or referring site, if any), clicks on the waitlist buttons, starting the form, form errors and survey answers — and keep only daily totals. No cookies, no identifiers, and nothing that could be tied to you. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also measures page visits and loading speed with its cookieless Web Analytics.

How we use it

  • To email you about RYNST early access.
  • To send occasional development updates — only if you ticked that box.
  • To understand, in aggregate, what people want RYNST to do, so we can decide what to build first.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who can see it

Only the RYNST team, through access-controlled administrator tools (a private dashboard and export). Service providers that host the website or deliver email process it on our behalf only to provide those services.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't set cookies for visitors. It keeps campaign tags in your browser's session storage until you close the tab so they can be attached to a signup. If we enable website analytics, we'll use a privacy-focused, cookieless service that reports aggregate visits only.

How long we keep it

Until you remove it, or until we wind down the waitlist programme, at which point waitlist entries will be deleted or anonymised. Final retention periods will be confirmed in the reviewed version of this notice.

Your choices

  • Use the private link shown after you join (and in our confirmation email, when email is enabled) to update your answers or remove your entry immediately.
  • Lost the link? Request a new one. To protect you, we confirm ownership of the address before anything is changed.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have further rights — such as access, correction and deletion — which we'll honour.
